 Luxury and perfection
The concept of luxury is extremely difficult to quantify. It is constantly in flux depending on the time and place. Fifty years ago, the chance to use an apartment in a post-war skyscraper was regarded as a luxury. A hundred years ago, a home telephone was counted as luxurious and three thousand years ago a man was considered to have lived a life of luxury if he was embalmed and entombed within a great pyramid.
These days we don’t build pyramids, it is easy to get a Rublyovka house (a famous wealthy Moscow suburb) and every schoolchild has a mobile phone. Anyone can buy a car, a plane and even a yacht. So what symbolises luxury today? In our opinion, it’s perfection – when every detail of a product or service is perfectly tailored.
Behind the wheel
Our chauffeurs are the face of the garage. Out of all our company personnel, they will be spending the most time with you (unless of course you happen to be married to one of our employees). That is why we, at Garage No.1, spend so much energy on training our personnel. Our driver selection process is incredibly thorough: we really put them through the wringer (don’t worry – so far no one has been harmed), testing them with the most complex, convoluted trials. But, all this means that we are really proud of those who make it through the draft.

Concierges
There are certain Garage No.1 employees you will never see in person, although you may deal with them frequently on the telephone. These are our concierges, whose work is a vital part of our service. Twenty-four hours a day, every day, they sit by the phone awaiting your call (well, perhaps they’re also proving Poincare’s theorem, while no one’s watching). Hotels, airline tickets, theatres – the concierges can organise anything you desire.
Passengers: very familiar faces
In his previous life in Latvia, our MD Artur Zantman was responsible for transportation of such varied and demanding personages as Queen Elizabeth II, Alexei II (Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia) and sometimes even capricious Russian pop idols such as Alla Pugachyova and Dima Bilan.
This means that we are prepared to handle clients with practically any demands. The more demands we face, the better it is for us, because challenges are the most enjoyable and interesting aspect of our work.
Technology and life
Garage No.1 has Rolls-Royce, Maybach, Bentley and Mercedes S-Class cars at its disposal. All of them are so new, they can still recall the faces of the workers on the assembly line.
